The S&P downgrade is being used as a talking point by both sides right now, with President Obama blaming it on the recalcitrant Tea Partiers, or as Biden likes to call them - ”terrorists” – and Republicans on the President’s irresponsible spending splurge. And while Republicans certainly have not been blameless in the frantic rush towards an insurmountable debt burden, the vast chunk of the blame must fall on the President who has increased the national debt more than any other President, while only serving three years.
